HOW TO SHIP A PACKAGE: You can rely on us to accept standard balikbayan boxes, whether they are Regular or Jumbo in size, with weights ranging from 1 lb to 120 lbs in Billable Weight.
Step 1: Get Your Package to Us Arrange a drop off appointment by calling the number 270-537-5572 for drop off at Magnolia KY 42757.
Step 2: We Get Your Package to It's International Destination Simplify your shipping process from Kentucky to the Philippines by opting for our container ocean transport service. With our extensive network of qualified carriers who are familiar with the local markets, we ensure direct delivery to the recipient. Follow these straightforward steps to ship your package: Enhance protection by employing a double wall rigid cardboard box, preferably new. Select a box strength that suits the contents you intend to ship. To eliminate any gaps between the package walls and the items, make use of appropriate cushioning materials like paper, bubble wrap, or polystyrene. This will effectively prevent any movement and guarantee sufficient protection. Prioritize stability by ensuring that the contents remain securely in place even when the package is shaken. Efficient and timely delivery relies on accurate labeling. To expedite the process, make sure to label your package correctly. On one side of the box, clearly write the sender's complete name, address (including zip code), phone number, and email address. In the center, below the sender's address, provide the recipient's full name, address (including country code), phone number (including area code), and email address. Avoid BUNTIS, bulging, and pregnant or protruding packaging! Contact us to arrange a drop-off or pick-up appointment.
Prepare your boxes for shipping:
1. PEN
Use a “Black” permanent marker. No whiteboard markers.
2. RECEIVER
Write the complete address including zip code on the box and their home or mobile number, add their email address. Give a residential address. Please write boldly and legibly on the box and fill in the ONLINE INVOICE FORM .
3. TAPE
Write the sender and receiver info on the box first before putting on the tape. Do NOT use gray duct tape or masking tape. Tape the bottom and top flaps of the box properly using packing tape and preferably cover the sides with transparent packing tape. Tape all flaps and seams, sides, top and bottom. NO ROPES TIED AROUND YOUR BOXES, THE KNOTS DAMAGE OTHER KABABAYANS BOXES!!!!!!
4. USE GARBAGE BAGS
Place a heavy duty plastic garbage bag inside the box before placing the contents inside to protect them from being wet especially during rainy season.
5. LIQUIDS
Best advice is to AVOID LIQUIDS!!!! Tape the top of all shampoo, conditioners, lotions, perfumes, and other plastic or glass containers that contain fluids. Place these items in separate seal-able bags to protect other items in case of a leak. If possible, avoid sending liquid detergents and fabric softener as they usually fragile and will break inside the box.
6. PERISHABLE ITEMS
Do not send perishable items like fresh fruits, milk, cheese, meat products and other UN-preserved items as they will be spoiled when it reaches the receiver.
7. TOYS & BATTERIES
Remove batteries from the toys before packing. Tape the batteries side by side so that the ends don’t touch, then wrap them in a cloth or shirt.
8. POWER
USA uses 110 volts, Philippines uses 220 volt, some USA electronics will burn when plugged into Philippine outlets, while some will operate at 110 and 220.
9. WEIGHT
For easy and safe handling, do not overload the boxes. One person should be able to pick up the box to transport into the trailer, van, or sea cargo container. Although the Philippines does not have weight issues, the USA goes by weight on containers and trucks using USA highways, please stay under the weight the box can handle.... to be safe stay under 120lbs for each box.
10. SCHEDULING A PICK UP
As soon as you are ready, please call us as soon as possible in advance for your desired pick up date. (We are very busy, but will accommodate you the best we can.)
11. BALIKBAYAN BOX LOCATION

12. Go to the online Invoice Form and fill it in completely please.
13. PAYMENTS

For check payment, please make the check payable to “My Balikbayan,” (Please note, any bounced checks are going to be subjected to a $35 fee). When paying by check, the check must clear the bank before the box will be shipped.
14. INSULATE YOUR BOX and anything breakable.
Use bubble wrap or foam on the inside walls and floor of your box to protect valuables. We are not responsible for any damage or breakage inside your box, that responsibility falls to the person or persons packing items in the box.
Top, bottom and all sides should be flat. (No bulging or Buntis) Closing flaps should be together - no space between flaps and no flaps overlapping. (Bulging is called pregnant box.)
